How we handle your information

We collect the minimum information needed to help your child, and only with your consent. This page explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to ask us to remove it.

Who we are

Mueen Therapy is an in-home paediatric therapy service operating in Saudi Arabia under Commercial Registration 7053635269. For privacy questions, write to us at privacy@mueentherapy.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to do our job. This usually means:

Booking details — your name, contact details, and the appointment details you choose to share. Bookings are scheduled through Cal.com, the scheduling provider we use.
The post-booking registration form — the details you fill into the family registration form after booking so we can prepare for the consultation, such as your child's name, date of birth, and needs. The form is processed through Google Forms within the practice's Google Workspace account.
Direct messages — whatever you choose to send us by email or WhatsApp at your own initiative, including careers applications and CVs.
The single necessary cookie that remembers your language choice (see the Cookies section below).
Necessary clinical records once your child becomes a client of the practice — kept on systems separate from this website and to the standard required by the regulator.

The basis we rely on

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), the legal basis we rely on is your consent — given when you complete a booking, given explicitly when you complete the registration form, or at your own initiative when you write to us by email or WhatsApp. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Children's information

Information about a child is only ever provided to us by the child's parent or legal guardian. After booking, we ask the family to complete a registration form limited to what we need to prepare for the consultation — such as your child's name, date of birth, and needs — and it is submitted only after you explicitly consent to this policy within the form itself. Anything beyond that is discussed with you directly in the consultation. Once your child becomes a client, clinical information is kept on protected clinical records, separate from this website.

Who can see it

Only Mueen staff who need the information to do their job. We never sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. Booking details are processed by Cal.com as a data processor on our behalf; the site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical request and usage data as a hosting sub-processor; messages you send us arrive in the practice's operational inboxes; and outbound therapy correspondence is sent from our Google Workspace account, with the post-booking registration form processed by Google Forms under that same account. The site links out to Mueen's own Instagram profile — visiting it is subject to Instagram's own policies, and following the link is not processing of your data on this site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and registration-form responses that don't lead to the service starting are deleted within 12 months. Bookings and clinical records are kept for the period required by Saudi healthcare regulations. Careers applications are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can:

Ask to see what information we hold about you
Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
Ask us to delete it
Withdraw your consent at any time
Complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) if you believe we have not handled your data properly

Cookies

This site sets a single necessary cookie that remembers your language choice (Arabic or English). It is not used to identify or track you. No advertising or tracking cookies are set on this site.

We will update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
